So winter has been kind of relentless up in my neck of the woods (Michigan). The kidlets were off school this whole week due to weather and one day last week. And I’ve gotten to add an extra hour onto my commute (ahhhh). LOL. Needless to say, I’m beginning to feel like my MC Salome, in The Winter People (fearing/hating winter).
But in other news, it is LESS THAN 2 MONTHS until The Romeo Club releases. I’m SO SO SO excited. Seriously can’t wait. I’ve also turned in another round of The Winter People edits and The Legend of Me edits. Waiting to hear back on a couple proposals for a contemporary YA I need to write. I’m plotting out the 2nd TLOM book.
Other than that, I’m just kind of chilling! I’ll be hanging out at the basketball courts for my daughter’s b-ball games starting Monday. Can’t wait to watch her play. And I’m trying SO hard to get caught back up on crits in my critique group as well as putting a dent in my TBR pile.
And speaking of TBR piles, here are a few of the books I’m looking forward to getting my hands on and reading in 2014 (And I know I’ve probably forgotten several—LOL). What are you looking forward to reading? Or are there any you think I ought to add to my TBR list/to buy list?
